Giant Cookies
Makes about 15 cookies
Ingredients
- 200 g butter, cut into cubes
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups NESTLÉ Milk Melts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar, golden syrup, and milk. Stir over low heat until butter has melted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Add vanilla essence to the cooled mixture.
- Sift the flour and baking soda into a large bowl. Add the Milk Melts.
- Pour in the butter mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Scoop 1/4 cup of dough and roll into a ball. Repeat with the remaining dough.
- Place balls on two ungreased oven trays and press down to flatten, allowing space for spreading.
- Bake one tray at a time for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack to cool completely.
